Simply deleting them from Device Manager does not remove them from Windows. However, if you've already installed the Sentinel, they're not easily uninstalled. How to stop Windows 7 automatically installing drivers Here is a way to change the settings in Windows 7 to prevent Windows from automatically searching/updating device drivers: With default Windows 7 settings Windows may go out and automatically try to search/update the HASP driver and find and install the incorrect one (Sentinel/Safenet). This can sometimes happen due to Windows updates or more likely if you plug the HASP USB key in after Windows is booted. Note when InteractX is installed, it already includes drivers for the HASP USB keys, named Aladdin. Using Windows to search for driver updates for the HASP USB keys used for InteractX licensing can result in Windows installing SafeNet Inc Sentinel drivers. There could be a conflict in drivers if two different software were using HASP keys and required different versions of the driver. NOTE: The updates to make 4.1 compatible with Windows 10 includes updates to the HASP key drivers and it now uses Sentinel drivers so this FAQ only applies to earlier versions of InteractX. Symptom: Interact X 4.0 USB Key is Plugged in but I can't access the ComServer (or its states its in Demo mode).
